One Stop Licence Shop Ltd. was opened in January 1994, by owner Cheryl Davis, to take advantage of the business opportunity provided when the provincial government privatized its customer service delivery network. The services that were previously provided in several government offices, mainly in Edmonton and Calgary, were now available locally in Red Deer, in convenient locations.
One Stop Licence Shop’s “one stop” approach provides you with increased accessibility, better hours of operation and a greatly improved level of customer service. Albertans have saved millions of tax dollars through the delivery of registry services by private industry. The privatization of Alberta government services has been a huge success for all involved – Alberta citizens, taxpayers, government and private businesses.
